The Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rouen Normandie or INSA Rouen Normandie is a french Grande école, that is to say a five-year curriculum which aims to train highly skilled engineers who possess humane qualities and are well versed in the primary areas of science and engineering. Located in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, on the Madrillet technology center campus, in the suburbs of Rouen, this school accommodates more than 2000 students who specialize in one of the 10 fields which have been available in Rouen for the 3 last years.

The school is within the group A of the national ranking according to the last rating given by L’Etudiant in 2018 and is the most important in all the north-west region, putting the school among the country’s best engineering schools. The school is also accredited with the EUR-ACE label (European Accredited Engineer), which is a high quality certificate awarded to courses of study in Engineering that are given by authorized quality assurance and accreditation agencies in the European Higher Education Area.

The European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) grants this authorization to agencies that accredit degree programs in Engineering in accordance with the European Framework Standards and ENAEE’s Standards for Accreditation Agencies.

The EUR-ACE label may be awarded to First Cycle (Bachelor) and Second Cycle (Master) accredited degrees in Engineering.
