It was established on July 21, 2010. “Medeniyet” is the Turkish word for “civilization” or “culture”.Established in 2010, Istanbul Medeniyet Üniversitesi (Istanbul Medeniyet University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants).
