Peninsula College is located in Port Angeles, Washington, and offers a wide range of degrees in areas including art, history, journalism, natural sciences and music. Students have the option of studying their degree online in a number of the programmes – allowing for them to balance their degree with work and earn money at the same time as learning.
The institution is located on the Olympic Peninsula, and takes advantage of the outside space, with many of the classes being taught outdoors. Students often go on field trips to the ocean or Olympic National Park, while others enjoy taking a trip to the nearby rainforests to learn about nature. Meanwhile, major cities such as Seattle and British Columbia are just a few hours away, allowing for students to explore the surrounding area in their spare time.

The Intensive English as a Second Language programme at Peninsula College offers students the benefits of small classes of less than 15 students, highly trained faculty, on-campus placement exam, guaranteed admission into college-level classes, an Academic College Bridge programme, and access to college advising, free tutoring, writing and computer labs.
Peninsula College offers three levels of IESL which combine Listening/Speaking, Reading, Writing/Grammar and an Academic Bridge Programme. At each level, students learn important preparatory skills such as:
English skills (grammar, writing, reading, and oral communication)
Academic study skills (class discussion, presentations, note-taking, research)
American cultural awareness
