    The Technical University of Moldova (Romanian: Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei) is a higher technical educational institution located in Chişinău, Moldova, and is the only such institute in the country to be accredited by the state. The Technical University of Moldova was founded in 1964, under the name “The Polytechnic Institute of Chişinău,” as a center for engineering and economic specialties from the Moldova State University.

   The university offers courses in about 80 specialties and specialisations, within the following 10 faculties:
